Frank Edwards Cautions:When God Speaks to you, Don’t go & announce it to everyone

Frank Edwards, the renowned gospel musician, recently issued a cautionary message to his followers, urging them to exercise discretion in sharing divine revelations with others. Through a post on his social media platform, he emphasized the potential pitfalls of broadcasting everything that God shows to the entire world. According to Edwards, such indiscriminate disclosure can lead to unnecessary problems and provide an opportunity for the devil to oppose them upon learning of God’s plans.

In his statement, Edwards advised against immediately announcing every revelation received from God. He explained that these messages might be intended for personal awareness, action, or prayer, rather than public dissemination. By sharing them openly, individuals inadvertently furnish the devil with valuable information to exploit, which ultimately results in self-inflicted difficulties.

Furthermore, Edwards emphasized the need for discretion even when God instructs someone to relay a message to His people. Not everyone qualifies as “His people,” and therefore, it is crucial to exercise discernment and caution. This serves to safeguard the integrity and impact of the divine message, preventing unnecessary complications that could arise from misguided disclosure.

To illustrate his point, Edwards recounted the biblical story of the wise men who were guided by God’s revelation of a star signalling Jesus’ birth. King Herod, upon learning of their purpose, attempted to manipulate the wise men into revealing the child’s location. However, heeding God’s warning, the wise men chose not to return to Herod after finding Baby Jesus. This decision granted Joseph and Mary the time they needed to flee Bethlehem before Herod’s sinister intentions could be carried out.
