Former homeless lady flaunts apartment she rented with money Nigerians donated

A Nigerian lady identified as Mayowa Sam has appreciated well-meaning strangers for coming to her aid when she was stranded.

She showed off the first room that she was able to rent and furnish after receiving donations from Nigerians.

The young woman said that she traveled to Lagos from Kaduna after her father’s burial and she did not have more than N3,500 in her possession.

Mayowa said she had to squat with a lady she knows from Twitter but after four months, her host went for her NYSC programme so she was back to being homeless.

However, people began donated about N30,000 and she used it to get a place, but she slept on the floor for three months.

Fate smiled on her when an Influencer sent N50,000 which she used to buy mattress and much later, she received more contributions which helped her to upgrade to a more conducive apartment.

Mayowa posted photos and wrote; “I left Kaduna for Lagos 3 days after my dad’s burial and I was left with only 3,500. I stay with an amazing lady I met on twitter for 4 months, so she has to go serve, which means I have to move out. I got support of 20k and 10k from here and I got this space (that’s what I could Afford, for 3 months I was sleeping on the bare floor.

On my birthday last year @Oluomoofderby sent me 50k as birthday gift, so I got a bed. And I could sleep comfortably. Rain started and my room was always flooded water. I increased my saving limit and I told myself. I must get a comfortable space.

Fast forward to November, I saw a space I could afford, but the total package was hell, I reached out to @Jomilojju and said when I am ready, I should let him know. But housings in Lagos is first come. They gave the space out.

I saw a other one, but I needed more fund too get it. So I messaged @mistarfly, and he replied with….. how much do you have at hand??? I told him, and he said remind me on so so date. Which I did. He sent me the money on the said date.

Now I sleep and eat comfortably. My space is so big and affordable. I must also appreciate @Hertheyearmi Days I don’t have money to transport myself to work. He is always there for me. Ade God bless you for me.”

In other news, a young man who is a retired womaniser has cried out to his friend about being served breakfast by a girl he’s been dating for three years.

The friend went online and shared screenshots with the heartbroken man where he narrated how he discovered that his babe got married to another man.

He captioned; “So a friend of mine has been dating this beautiful girl and to be fair, she has always seemed loyal and committed, he used to be a serial womaniser but the level of her commitment changed him as he felt she deserved to receive the same level of love and commitment he got from her.

In the conversation, the ex-womaniser revealed that he helped his girlfriend named Chidera, to prepare for a trip to her hometown as she had informed him that her sister would be getting married during the weekend and she even invited him.

He took his babe to the market and bought nice dresses for her to slay at the wedding and sent N50,000 to her sibling.

The boyfriend said he also drove his babe to the bus park on Thursday and they did not speak on Friday, which was the day for the traditional wedding while white wedding was to hold on Saturday.

She had apparently told him that Friday was a busy day for her and sent pictures of her in one of the dresses he bought.

He still did not realise what was happening until he attended the wedding reception and saw that the bride was his girlfriend of three years.

He said that he was unable to drive back home as a result of what he witnessed and another friend had to take him home.

The young man who was totally devastated talked about the attempting suicide because he could not handle what happened. His friend had to beg him to calm down that he was on his way to his house while they were still chatting.
