Dupe Olusola, Managing Director and CEO of Transcorp Hotels Plc, marked her 50th birthday with a special announcement—the launch of the Next Generation Foundation (NGF), aimed at improving access to education for vulnerable children.
Taking to Instagram, Olusola shared a celebratory photo in a stunning outfit, expressing her gratitude, captioning it, “Joyful, Grateful and Blessed 🙏🏾💃🏽🙏🏾 Thankful for my big 50!” She also posted a video titled “Flamenco Fever,” adding flair to her milestone celebration. Prior to the big day, Olusola had shared a heartfelt birthday shoot with her two daughters and husband.
In conjunction with her birthday, Olusola introduced the NGF’s flagship initiative, the 50 by 50 Project, a multiyear scholarship programme starting in the 2024/2025 academic session. The project will provide comprehensive support—including tuition, books, uniforms, nutrition, healthcare, and mentorship—for 50 children from low-income families in the Federal Capital Territory, Lagos, and Ogun states.
Speaking about the foundation, Olusola emphasized the transformative power of education, noting, “Education changes lives, it opens doors to a future filled with opportunities, particularly for children who might otherwise be left behind.” The initiative, powered by partnerships with social impact organisations, will not only address immediate educational needs but also contribute to broader education reform efforts across Nigeria.
