Divine Smiles Foundation Head Congratulates Dr. Cyril Adams Oshiomhole on Health Commissioner Appointment

Prince Eerik A. Odigie, Chairman of the Divine Smiles Foundation International, has sent a heartfelt message of congratulations to Dr. Cyril Adams Oshiomhole on his appointment by the Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo as Commissioner for Health.

In a statement made available to the press, Prince Odigie praised the selection as a strategic move by Governor Sen. Monday Okpebholo.

“He has made the best decision to pick a pragmatic, vibrant, and innovative youth, well prepared to serve, having studied for over two decades in our of Nigeria’s finest ivory tower and Harvard School of Medicine USA, to become one of Nigeria’s best-trained medical practitioners as a paediatric physician and public health expert,” Prince Odigie stated. 

Speaking further, Odigie submitted that the appointment as the first commissioner designates by the action governor is a testament to the fact that his dedication to medical care for his people is paramount on his agenda and sincere about all his campaign promises, as he has shown dedication by plugging square pegs in square holes.

Highlighting Dr. Oshiomhole’s credentials, Prince Odigie emphasized the appointee’s extensive medical training, including studies at a top Nigerian university and the Harvard School of Medicine. He described Dr. Oshiomhole as a “well-prepared” pediatric physician and public health expert.

Prince Odigie’s congratulatory message underlines the significance of being the first commissioner appointed by the new governor, viewing it as a strong statement of the administration’s commitment to healthcare.

“This appointment is a testament to the governor’s dedication to medical care and his sincere approach to fulfilling campaign promises,” Prince Odigie added.

“The appointment being the first commissioner designate by the action governor is a testament to the fact that his dedication to medical care for his people is paramount on his agenda and sincere about all his campaign promises, as he has shown dedication by plugging square pegs in square holes. He has repeatedly removed the usual fears of the saying “political statement” to be an action statement by these appointments and actions.

“I am more than grateful to the people’s governor on this occasion of the swearing in of Dr. Cyril Adams Oshiomhole, believing without any iota of doubt that he will carry out the legacies of his family name, which is known for uncommon performance to extend the same to the aspirations of the Akpakomiza administration.

Senator Monday Okpebholo was sworn in as the Governor of Edo State on November 12, following his victory in the off-cycle gubernatorial election held on September 21, where he represented the All-Progressives Congress (APC).
