Davido declares support for Banky W, congratulates him for PDP House of Reps ticket win

Ace Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, known professionally as Davido has congratulated singer cum politician, Bankole Wellington aka Banky W, for winning the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to contest for Eti-Osa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives election.

CorrectNG reported on Monday that Banky W scored 28 votes to defeat his rival who polled 3 votes in the just concluded PDP state Assembly and House of Representatives primary elections.

Taking to his Twitter account to react, Davido threw his weight behind the EME boss as he asked Banky to hit the ground running.

He wrote; “Congrats @BankyW! You have my support! Don’t sit at home and complain, get up and make a change”.

Other celebrities like media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and rapper, MI Abaga have also congratulated him.

Ebuka tweeted; “One building block at a time. Congrats @BankyW! Time to prepare even harder bro”

MI Abaga wrote; “Many will talk, few will do. Congrats @BankyW.”
