The man explained that while Wike is often viewed as a fearless political figure, not every battle is worth fighting. He noted that this particular altercation could shift public perception of the former Rivers State governor, especially if he fails to assert authority over the disputed land.

According to him, many people who once feared or avoided challenging Wike might now feel empowered by the incident, seeing it as proof that the minister is not untouchable.

He further remarked that moments like this can change the power dynamics between political figures and the public, as opponents may interpret such encounters as a sign of weakness or vulnerability.

This incident that happened today in Abuja between Nyesom Wike and a military officer, there are some people who couldn’t look Wike eye to eye before, but this particular incident will give them courage now. Most especially if Wike doesn’t enter that land. People will say ‘ehn, so this man no be I am that I am….”
