The West is eventually going to have to make a conscious choice whether to kowtow to thuggery from the likes of Kadyrov and curtail the freedom of expression, or to defend it even for those it demonizes as “far right.” The choice is, in fact, already being made in many ways.

Ramzan Kadyrov has emphasized that an act of Rasmus Paludan, an organizer of the burning of the Koran, who dedicated his new action in Denmark to the leader of Chechnya, has no excuses and threatened the Danish politician with “punishment.”
The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on January 22, Ramzan Kadyrov sharply condemned Rasmus Paludan, the leader of the far-right Danish political party “Stram Kurs” (“Straight Course” or “Hard Line”), who on January 21 burned the Koran in front of the Embassy of Turkey in Stockholm.
“For me, such provocateurs are real terrorists from whom a healthy society needs to be freed,” Ramzan Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel.
Ramzan Kadyrov has called those who burn the Koran “pathetic rootless individuals who offend the feelings of a billion inhabitants of the Earth.” The leader of Chechnya has also reproached the authorities for allowing such actions….
Rasmus Paludan announced that he was burning the Koran because of Khamzat Chimaev and Ramzan Kadyrov, who, in his opinion, “had not learned how to behave,” the “RIA Novosti” reports.
