Hollywood actor and singer Tyrese Gibson has said that getting cancelled failed to stop his shine.
He recently revealed that the cancel culture only proves to affected celebrities that people are watching.
Speaking via his social media page, Tyrese shared that getting cancelled years ago turned out to be a blessing in disguise for his career.
The moviestar stated that getting cancelled is really the greatest gift because nobody will cancel anyone they weren’t watching in the first place.
He urged his fellow celebrities to never quit being a disruptor, stressing that only those who are different will be able to change things.
“Cancel culture is the greatest gift. There would be no such thing as being canceled if they wasn’t watching your every move. This is biblical. God will never give YOU something [Somebody else] is supposed to have.
Keep flying, keep being a disruptor and keep elevating. Only those that are different change things,” he wrote.
The “Fast and Furious” actor concluded by saying that he is looking forward to getting cancelled again because his blessings have been uncountable since the last one.
“I hope I get canceled again cause I’ve booked 35 movies, had 5 number one singles and 3 number one albums after it,” he added.
