BREAKING: Ondo Assembly Deputy Speaker And Majority Leader Resign [DETAILS]
The Deputy Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Mr. Abayomi Akinruntan, and the Majority Leader, Mr. Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi, have stepped down from their leadership positions.
The lawmakers, both members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), represent Ilaje Constituency 1 and Owo Constituency 1, respectively.
Their resignations were formally announced during Tuesday’s plenary session, presided over by Speaker Mr. Olamide Oladiji.
Akinruntan attributed his decision to ongoing political power-sharing arrangements within the state.
