Baba Wande Lied, He Got Over 300k, Other Benefits from Movie My Company Produced — Kelani Speaks

Renowned ace cinematographer, Tunde Kelani has reacted to viral video of Alhaji Kareem Adepoju popularly called Baba Wande where the veteran actor alleged he was cheated and betrayed by Kelani for his “Ti Oluwa Ni Ile” movie.

Kelani in an exclusive interview with Tribune paper said the claim Baba Wande got N15,000 from movie wasn’t true. He said the vouchers in his company’s domain shown that Baba Wande received more than N300,000 for the movie produced over 20 years ago.

 Kelani reacted further that it’s painful that Baba Wande didn’t even care whether his company made money it devoted for the production of the movie. 

Kelani acknowledged the success of the project but frowned at the approach Baba Wande used to get attention of the people. 

“I think Baba Wande is broke, I am broke too; we are all broke and that is the reality”.
