Azerbaijan would not be attacking Armenia right now if the U.S. & EU hadn’t repeatedly demonstrated their belief that Azerbaijan’s oil is more valuable than Armenian lives.

If the roles were reversed here, there would be no end of global indignation and condemnation. But this? No one cares. The universal media paradigm is that Muslims are victims. When they are aggressors, the media determinedly doesn’t notice, or finds a way to cast the aggressor as the victim (cf. the “Palestinians”).
