‘Artists Just Want To Eat, They Didn’t Bargain For This’ – Davido Blast Uganda Police For Arresting Omah Lay And Tems

Davido has taken to social media to blast the Uganda Police for arresting Nigerian artists Omah Lay and Tems.

Omah Lay and Tems were arrested and detained by the Police in Uganda for violating the country’s COVID-19 laws.

This follows shortly after the celebrated singers held a sold-out concert in the East-African nation.

Omah Lay confirmed their arrest in a post on social media and revealed that he was in police custody but now he and Tems have been sent to court, and they are treating them so badly as if they have killed someone as they are being sent to court in handcuffs.

Davido reacting to this, took to his official Twitter handle and said the artists were just there to do their job, not to be arrest and prosecuted.

“Omo this Ugandan P, how can we help? What can we do? Artists just tryna eat! They didn’t bargain for this @PoliceUg !!!!! BIG CAP!!,” Davido tweeted.
