Gov. Hyacinth Alia of Benue has felicitated the Senate President, Sen Godswill Akpabio, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday anniversary.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Tersoo Kula, on Thursday in Makurdi.
Alia described Akpabio as a great politician, whose outstanding leadership qualities have propelled the 10th Senate to greater heights.
He said that as a former commissioner, former governor of Akwa Ibom and former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Akpabio had always demonstrated excellence, leaving behind lasting legacies to show for his time in those offices.
The governor prayed to God to continue to bless the senate president and his family, as he continues to drive the highest legislative arm of government in the country. (NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
