Lagos, Nigeria – Adesina Ogunlana, Esq., the former chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ikeja Branch, Lagos State, has tragically passed away. Ogunlana, who led the branch from 2016 to 2018, unexpectedly breathed his last on Tuesday, with no prior indication of illness.
The news of his passing was announced in a statement issued on Wednesday, August 7, morning by the Secretary of the NBA Ikeja Branch, Issa Adedokun. The statement noted that burial arrangements would be communicated later by the bereaved family.

“The Executive Committee regrets to announce the sudden passage of our beloved Leader, Adesina Ogunlana, Esq., Past Chairman (2016 – 2018), who passed away on the 6th of August 2024.
We are deeply saddened by this transition but are comforted by the fact that our dear Leader lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation by all.
His contributions to our branch, the legal profession, and the entire country will forever remain indelible.
Burial arrangements will be announced upon confirmation from his immediate family.
