Popular Yoruba comedy actor, Wale Akorede, best known by his stage name Okunnu, who had resided in Saudi Arabia but later returned to Nigeria, has fiercely cursed public servants.
The actor questioned when Nigerians will begin to enjoy their lives after claiming he had not been in the mood to cast curses in his life.
Okunnu, who shared a video and called Nigeria a bad country, prophesied that everyone who helped shape the nation’s current state—be it a man, woman, child, or elderly person—will continue to live in misery from generation to generation.
His video sparked debate, and his coworkers responded in the comment area.
‘I have never be in this mood in my life, where we are going in this county. When are we going to enjoying ourselves as citizens of Nigeria. Nawa oooooo #weneedprogress KO B’ERINDE’, he wrote.
