The bank said the new branch underscores its mission to bring inclusive, reliable, and technology-driven financial solutions closer to underserved communities. Kaduna, one of Northern Nigeria’s most active commercial hubs, hosts thousands of micro and small-scale entrepreneurs who rely on accessible credit, savings products, and secure digital platforms to grow their businesses.
Ahead of the launch, Accion MfB conducted a two-day market sensitization outreach across Abubakar Gumi Market, Chanchangi, New Pantaker, Old Pantaker, Kawo, Mando, and Sabo. The engagements helped introduce the bank’s services, promote financial literacy, and strengthen ties with traders and market associations.
Speaking at the opening, Accion MfB’s Managing Director/CEO, Taiwo Joda, said the Kaduna branch reflects the bank’s long-term commitment to economic empowerment.
“Kaduna is a vital commercial center with enormous potential. The new branch here is our commitment to supporting economic growth by bringing financial services directly to the people who need them most,” Joda said.
NEAT Microfinance Bank’s CEO, R.O. Salami, also praised Accion MfB’s industry leadership, stating, “Accion has built a strong reputation for integrity and innovation in the microfinance sector.”
