A 22-year-old lady, identified as Uche Chukwurah, was abducted after boarding a tricycle, sparking concerns online.
Details of the heartbreaking incident were shared by human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu in a recent Facebook post.
Details Of The Abduction
According to Harrison Gwamnishu, Uche Chukwurah was abducted on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, after boarding a tricycle around Ibusa Junction in Asaba, Delta State.
In the post, it was revealed that her abductors contacted her family the same night, demanding a ransom.
Meanwhile, she remains in her abductors’ custody, with her father currently unable to afford the ransom.

22-year-old Uche Chukwurah closed from work on Wednesday, 29th October 2025, and boarded a keke around Ibusa Junction, Asaba, but she never made it home.
That same night, her abductors contacted the family, demanding a ransom. Uche is still being held captive, as her father cannot afford the amount they are asking for.
At this point, one can only wonder — how careful can anyone truly be to avoid falling into the hands of these criminals?.
This follows after Aisha Wahab, a lady kidnapped in Auchi, Edo State, was released after a ₦20 million ransom payment.
Her release comes after she spent two weeks in her kidnappers captivity.
