Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of Nigeria’s president-elect, Bola Asiwaju Tinubu, made an intriguing revelation today, stating that she is poised to become one of the most mature first ladies the nation has ever seen. This disclosure came during a special interdenominational service held at the National Christian Center in Abuja as part of the forthcoming presidential inauguration.

Additionally, Senator Oluremi, representing the Lagos Central Senate constituency, disclosed her husband’s true age as 71. Following her husband’s triumph in the presidential election on February 25, she expressed her heartfelt gratitude to God.

“We never anticipated that this would come to pass, but we are profoundly grateful to God for instilling hope in us,” she gratefully acknowledged. “Asiwaju is 71, and I am approaching 63. Thus, I am likely to hold the distinction of being one of Nigeria’s eldest first ladies. The ongoing endeavors are of utmost importance.”

“God has undoubtedly demonstrated His presence, just as He did during the primary night, and has blessed this occasion. Now is the ideal moment for Nigeria,” she proclaimed. Meanwhile, certain reports have circulated online, quoting prominent senior lawyer and human rights activist Femi Falana questioning the legitimacy of Bola Tinubu’s election as president-elect, as published in Vanguard magazine. These reports are entirely based on false allegations. Let me be unequivocal: this story is a complete fabrication.

Nevertheless, Falana’s opinion aligns with the court’s argument that Tinubu should assume the de facto presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, based on the Supreme Court’s ruling. In an interview published by Vanguard yesterday, Falana stated that the president-elect of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is scheduled to take the oath of office on Monday, May 29. Falana expressed no surprise regarding the Supreme Court’s ruling.
