A 13-year-old young boy has reportedly committed suicide after being accused of stealing a mobile phone in Cameroon.
According to a reporter in Cameroon, identified as Tata Benard Gibip, the boy was caught earlier attempting to stab himself over the false accusation but was stopped and cautioned.
However, in the late hours of yesterday, Sunday morning, May 7, 2023, the young boy reportedly left home and hanged himself on a tree.
“His lifeless body was discovered hanging from a tree after his absence was noticed.
“Considering his tender age, many are wondering whether the allegation could actually push him to take away his life. However, answers unfortunately cannot be gotten as the concern is no”, the report said.
