Accident Involving A ‘Kuffour Bus’ Leaves Over 25 People Dead

In a sad report, over 25 people have reportedly died as a result of a fatal accident.

The accident occurred on the Bibiani to Sefwi Bekwai road in the Western North region on Monday, January 10.

The accident was actually a collision between a Metro Mass Bus which is popularly known as Kuffour Bus and a Sprinter Benz Bus.

One eyewitness identified as Hamza Mohammed who spoke to Starr FM stated that the Sprinter Bus was traveling from Sefwi-Wiawso to Bibiani and the Metro Mass Bus was traveling from Kumasi to Sefwi-Wiawso.

What actually led to the gory accident is not known yet, however, aside from the people who have reportedly died, several others too have sustained severe injuries.

In other news, a family of six have perished leaving other relatives in despair.

The death of this family came after their vehicle had an accident on the Kumasi Nkawie Sefwi highways on the evening of Saturday, January 8, 2022.

Per what we gathered, the family included a couple, their mother In-law and three children and they were reportedly returning from a wedding when the accident occurred.
