APC Abdullahi Adamu loses senatorial seat to SDP

The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Abdullahi Adamu has lost his seat in Nasarawa Western Zone to an SDP candidate.

According to reports, Adamu lost his seat to Ahmed Wadada of the Social Democratic Party in the National Assembly elections held on Saturday.

The INEC returning agent for Nasawara Baba while declaring the winner said Ahmed Wadada of SDP pulled 98,488 votes while Adamu of the APC also pulled 47,717 votes. Also, the PDP candidate also pulled 46,820 while the Labour party pulled 33,228.

Aside from the seat lost in the Nasarawa West, the APC also lost the Keffi/Kokona/Karu seat to the SDP with Gaza Gwefwi retaining his seat.

SDP pulled 60,265 votes, the APC also pulled 28,417 votes, the LP, 29655, and the PDP 33,180 for the house of representatives elections.
